Taher Group Law Firm has been named Middle East Law Firm of the Year – Kuwait 2026 at the Middle East Legal Awards, organised by international legal media organisation ALM – Law.com, marking a significant recognition for Kuwait's legal profession on the regional and international stage.

The firm secured the award in a competitive field of nine shortlisted entries, including prominent law firms with established regional and international practices. The recognition reflects the firm's professional standing and the continued development of its specialised legal capabilities.

The award ceremony was attended by the firm's founder, Mr. Abdulaziz Taher Alkhateeb, who received the award and commemorative trophy, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Sakina Al-Kout, his son, Taher Alkhateeb, and his wife. The occasion reflected the continuity of the firm's professional legacy across generations.

The award marks another milestone in a legal practice established in Kuwait in 1969. حصدت شركة مجموعة طاهر القانونية للمحاماة والاستشارات القانونية جائزة «أفضل مكتب محاماة في الكويت لعام 2026 (Middle East Law Firm of the Year – Kuwait)، ضمن جوائز الشرق الأوسط القانونية التي تنظمها المؤسسة الإعلامية القانونية العالمية ALM – Law.com، في إنجاز جديد يعزز حضور المؤسسات القانونية الكويتية على الساحة الإقليمية والدولية.

وجاء فوز المجموعة بعد منافسة ضمت تسعة ترشيحات من نخبة مكاتب المحاماة الكبرى، من بينها مؤسسات قانونية مرموقة ذات حضور إقليمي ودولي، في إنجاز يعكس المكانة المهنية التي بلغتها المجموعة وتطور قدراتها في تقديم الخدمات القانونية المتخصصة.

وشهد حفل توزيع الجوائز حضور مؤسس المجموعة المحامي عبدالعزيز طاهر الخطيب، الذي تسلّم درع التكريم والجائزة، برفقة حرمه السيدة سكينة الكوت، ونجله طاهر الخطيب وحرمه، في مناسبة جسّدت امتداد مسيرة المجموعة المهنية عبر الأجيال.
